Staff Support Psychology Role

Noelle O’Keeffe, Senior Counselling Psychologist, has been appointed to a new staff support psychology role, in Tallaght University Hospital. The new role is funded by the Meath Foundation, and created through a collaboration of the hospital’s Occupational Health & Wellbeing, Psychology and Human Resources.

A spokesperson for TUH said it was well recognised that working in healthcare  had its challenges, which were particularly highlighted during the pandemic. The new role aimed to address the impact upon staff working in healthcare.

Noelle O’Keeffe, Senior Counselling Psychologist, has worked in TUH for the past eight years and delivered staff support resilience initiatives during COVID. She is the Chair of the Schwartz Rounds Steering Committee and has a specialist training in supporting people working in trauma.
