New Director of National Cancer Control Programme

Prof Risteard O’Laoide has been appointed as the new Director of the National Cancer Control Programme, following an open competition.

Prof. O’Laoide, has been working as Group Clinical Director at Ireland East Hospital Group and Consultant Radiologist at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

The National Cancer Control Programme (NCCP) is a directorate within the Health Service Executive (HSE) that manages and organises cancer control measures on a whole population basis.
