Ms. Pat O’Boyle, who has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Dublin Dental University Hospital.
Pat was formerly Secretary/General Manager of the National Maternity Hospital in Holles Street, Dublin and prior to that she was Director of HR & Operations at Cappagh National Orthopaedic Hospital.
Pat recently became Chairman of the Dublin Mid-Leinster Regional Group of the Health Management Institute. When Pat worked at Cappagh she chaired the Voluntary Hospitals’ HR Managers Group and was a member of the health services’ National Joint Council.
She has a double Masters in Industrial Relations and Human Resources Management.
Before joining the health services, she worked in various industries in the private sector for a number of years. She is married to Michael and lives in Dublin.
She replaces Mr. Brian Murray, who has retired following many years service to the Dublin Dental University Hospital.
