Irish born Michael Dowling, CEO Northwell Health has received the first New York Islanders Charles B. Wang Community Service Award. This award recognizes leaders in New York who have impacted the lives of individuals, families, and the community. Northwell Health is a non profit integrated healthcare network and is New York State’s largest healthcare provider and private employer, with more than 81,000 employees. The flagship hospitals of Northwell are North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
