Have you considered commuting to work by bike?

The Cycle to Work Scheme is a tax incentive encouraging employees to cycle to and from work.

The employer pays for a bike/equipment up to the value of

€1,250  and sets up a salary-sacrifice arrangement. The benefit being the employee is not liable for tax, PRSI or USC on the repayments.
