Kevin McCarthy, who was Asst. Chief Executive to the East Coast Area Health Board from 2000 – 2002, has been appointed Secretary General to the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth.
He was formerly Secretary General, Department of Rural and Community Development and prior to that worked as Principal Officer, Director, at the Department of Education and Science.
