The main lecture theatre in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin has been re-named the Davis Coakley Theatre, in memory of the late Prof. Davis Coakley.
Prof. Coakley was Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences in Trinity for six years and as Post Graduate Medical Director in St James’s Hospital was key to the establishment and building of the new post graduate centre in the hospital.
He was also a longs standing Trustee of the Worth Library.
