A multidisciplinary design team has begun work on a two-part construction project at Tallaght University Hospital, Dublin.
The project will provide four new inpatient wards, an endoscopy suite and a new haematology/oncology day ward and CSSD Unit.
Phase 1 will deliver 96 new inpatient beds, six new procedure rooms in the Endoscopy Department and the new haematology/oncology day ward.
In the second phase there will be a further 32 inpatient beds and a new CSSD Unit.
