The Galway University Hospitals & Galway City Integrated Care Respiratory Team won the Excellence in Respiratory honour at the Hospital Professional Honors 2024.
This honour recognised a project that demonstrates deliverable outcomes within respiratory care and that has supported and evidenced the difference made to the patient experience in respiratory care.
The team works together under the Enhanced Community Care Programme within Chronic Disease.
The team were presented their honour by Mary McDonald, Patient Services Manager, Asthma Society of Ireland.
