The Mater Private Network in Dublin has introduced the Optrell™ Mapping Catheter in its electrophysiology laboratory.

“Our Electrophysiology team is leveraging this cutting-edge technology to manage some of the most challenging cardiac arrhythmia cases. The Optrell™ Mapping Catheter, in conjunction with the CARTO™ 3 System, provides high-resolution directional mapping and intelligent insights, enabling our cardiologists to accurately and efficiently identify ablation targets,” said a spokesperson.

“This innovation ensures a significant improvement in patient outcomes for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Already, this advanced technology has been used to successfully treat complex cases of Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) and Atrial Fibrillation (AF).

“By adopting the latest technology, our Electrophysiology team is at the forefront of improving the safety and precision of cardiac procedures, ultimately delivering better outcomes for our patients.”
