Prof. Declan Lyons has been appointed as the new Research Director for HSE Mid West. This is part of the HSE’s move to establish dedicated research directorates across the country’s 6 health regions.
The new Directorate will support a wide range of research studies – from small student studies to complex international trials. The goal is to facilitate reliable, high-quality, and innovative clinical research that improves health outcomes for people in the Mid West and beyond.
The HMI is the professional body for healthcare managers across all sectors of the health services in Ireland. Its overall aim is the development of standards of management competence and practice. We inform, educate and involve members and stakeholders in professional development and networking activities.
