Damien O’Dowd has appointed as the new Chief Executive of Saint John of God Hospital, Dublin.
He will also lead the private independent hospital’s associated services including Mental Health First Aid Ireland and St Joseph’s Centre in Shankill.
Mr. O’Dowd has extensive experience as a senior level manager within healthcare organisations and services in both the private and voluntary healthcare sectors.
He most recently worked in senior consultant and director roles in Vision Consulting and Virtus Health respectively and was Chief Executive of the Bloomfield Health Service between the years 2011 and 2018.
