Kate Duggan has been appointed as the new CEO of Tusla – Child and Family Agency.
She is a former Deputy CEO and has been working as Interim CEO since the departure of Bernard Gloster to take up the role of CEO of the HSE. She is the fourth CEO of Tusla since its establishment in January 2014.
Kate Duggan is a Clinical Speech and Language Therapist by profession and is also a former manager of that discipline. She joined the Child and Family Agency in August 2020 as National Director of Service and Integration. In addition to her clinical work, she has also held senior HSE role in both Quality/Patient Safety and Primary Care Management in the Mid-West. Trained to master’s degree in management, she has two decades of experience in Health and Personal Social Services.
