Damien McCallion has been appointed interim HSE Chief Operations Officer. He replaces Anne O’Connor, who left the HSE to become Managing Director of VHI Health and Wellbeing.
A highly experienced health manager, Damien has been HSE National Lead for Test and Trace and Vaccination,HSE National Director COVID-19 Vaccination Programme, HSE National Director of ICT and Interim HSE National Director of Screening. He was also Director General for the CAWT Partners.
