A new Cardiology and Respiratory unit (CRU) has been opened to patients and service users at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin.
The building is beside the main hospital’s entrance and can be accessed from the front of the building.
A range of services have moved to the CRU including; diagnostic cardiology, (ECHO, ECG, Stress Test, Pacing) Respiratory lab (lung function tests) and the Heart Support Team.
The hospital said fast track projects like this were essential to the hospital’s campus development.” St James’s Hospital’s infrastructure is constantly expanding and evolving to ensure that the best possible care can be provided to patients and service users.”
