Sharon Morrow has been appointed by the Children’s Hospital Group as the Director of the Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Network.
In this new position, Ms Morrow will support the CHD Network Board in the development and delivery of services for children and young people with congenital heart conditions and their families as part of an all-island model of care.
The unique collaboration is the first formally established all-island network for clinical care, brining benefit to patients across the island or Ireland.
A qualified nurse, Ms Morrow has held a number of senior positions within the health service. These included National Clinical Care Programme Manager with the Royal College of Physicians and the Health Service Executive, Chief Operations Officer at the Adelaide & Meath Hospital incorporating the National Children’s Hospital, Tallaght and, most recently, Chief Executive Officer with Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice.
