Why are we on social networks?
More and more people are using social networks to communicate with each other. The Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) is using social networks to help us inform and engage with both our members and non-members. We post regular news, information briefings and announcements relevant to managers in the Irish health services. Additionally, we use our social networks to keep members up-to-date on HMI events, training programmes and products. We also run competitions and notify followers of special offers from the HMI.
Competition winner
On May 9 a competition was held for followers on Facebook and we held a draw to win a free place on our Certificate in Management Skills. We are delighted to announce that Marie Lipinski from Cork won the draw and has confirmed that she is looking forward to attending our Management Skills programme in September in Dublin.
HMI Annual Conference 2012 competition
We are now launching a new competition to win tickets* to our Annual Conference 2012: Raising the bar – enhancing services delivery and performance on October 1, 2012. The conference will be held in The Gresham Hotel, O’Connell Street, Dublin.
