The Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) launches new Training and Development Services Guide for 2012.
The Health Management Institute of Ireland (HMI) has launched a new Training and Development Services Guide for 2012. It provides a snapshot of the services we provide to both members and non-members. We are embracing those challenges currently facing our health services by constantly adapting to meet the demanding needs of a changing sector. As experts in healthcare management, last year, we helped numerous healthcare organisations through our consulting and training services and eLearning development as well as our suite of training DVDs.
For 2012, all of our popular management and professional skills programmes remain as well as our Health and Safety courses which commenced last year. Our organisational development activity has seen an increasing demand in recent years and this also continues to be offered. This year we are also delighted to be able to extend our offering to include in-house IT training.
The quality of our services is consistently highly rated, as indicated by the participants on our Management Skills programme during 2011. From their evaluation of the programme:
- More than 95 per cent believed the programme content was suitable for application to their work environment.
- 99 per cent regarded their overall learning experience as very good or excellent.
- More than 97 per cent of participants stated they would recommend our programmes.
This is a great endorsement of our most popular programme and is an indication of the standard of excellence you can expect from all our services.
The HMI also launched our new People Handling training DVD toward the end of 2011. The DVD was developed in partnership with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and offers employers and employees a best practice guide on safer patient handling in Ireland.
The HMI is always interested in talking to members and non-members about ideas for new programmes or services provided. We would also be happy to discuss any requirements you may have. You can call us at (01) 2974070 or email us at info@hmi.ie. Check out our website www.hmi.ie or you can follow ‘hmiireland’ on Facebook and Twitter for HMI news and information.
We look forward to hearing from you and working with you in the year ahead.
