Carolyn Donohoe has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
Announcing the appointment, NMBI President, Dr Louise Kavanagh McBride said, “Carolyn brings a wealth of experience in clinical practice, education and continuous professional development to NMBI. Her leadership will be instrumental as we continue to protect the public and support nurses and midwives as they perform their vital work.”
The HMI is the professional body for healthcare managers across all sectors of the health services in Ireland. Its overall aim is the development of standards of management competence and practice. We inform, educate and involve members and stakeholders in professional development and networking activities.
