Bons Secours Health System has announced the expansion of its academic partnership with St Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth (SPPU).
Building on the 2023 launch and its foundational ‘Ethics in Healthcare’ course, the partnership introduces a new suite of micro-credential modules designed to strengthen leadership capabilities in healthcare, as well as provide select modules focused on values-based leadership.
Speaking at the launch event, Group CEO Alan Sharp emphasised how Bon Secours Health System recognises “𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨, 𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘦𝘴-𝘣𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘪𝘴 𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘦𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦. The new modules are intended to allow participants to progressively build pathways toward a formal postgraduate diploma or master’s degree. They will be delivered through the University’s Centre for Mission and Ministries.
